Throughout the Bible, God describes his Word as a feast, spiritual milk, true meat, and sweet honey. God taps into our need and enjoyment of food to illustrate how we should approach his Word and our study of him: theology. This is the theme of our humble site: to invite you to pull up a chair, join us at the table, and feast on the goodness of God. My name is Matthew Price and I am the primary contributor. I will occasionally invite others to contribute so as to foster a sense of discussion. Feel free to comment or write me with any concerns or questions you may have.

About Matt

I have always loved asking the hard questions about God. Surprising to me is the satisfaction that comes not only from discovering the answers to some my questions, but discovering that I may never know the answer to all of my questions. This is an ongoing record of my interaction with the Scriptures and theology, especially as they relate to the life of the local church. I am a graduate of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky and currently serve as Senior Pastor of Tabor City Baptist Church in Tabor City, North Carolina. I have been married to my beautiful wife, Jessica, since November, 2009. In 2014, we had our first child, our precious daughter, Anna Lane Price. In April of 2020, God blessed us with another beautiful addition in the birth of our second daughter, Lillian Grace Price.
